The 19th China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) is scheduled to be held in Nanning on 16-19 September 2022, with the theme of "Sharing New Opportunities of RCEP and Boosting China-ASEAN Free Trade Area 3.0".   Malaysia being one of the RCEP members and the theme country of this year's expo, is actively promoting interaction, cooperation and development in trade, investment and digital economy between Chinese and Malaysian government, business associations and enterprises. Prior to the official opening of the China-ASEAN Expo, China Construction Bank together with Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation, Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Malaysia and China-ASEAN Expo Secretariat, will jointly organize a 3-day matchmaking meeting: ‘China-ASEAN Expo ● Sharing Growth Opportunities Towards A Prosperous Future’ on 13-15 September 2022.

Prior to this, CCB has successfully hosted China-Malaysia Business Matchmaking Meeting for three consecutive years, namely the on-site conference of CAEXPO 2019 in Nanning, and the cloud conference in 2020 and 2021. Last year, China Construction Bank recommended more than 200 high-quality Chinese and Malaysian enterprises joining the online matchmaking session, where 100 video conference rooms have been established and 17 intentional cooperation deals were achieved with an amount of more than USD 100 million. While the pandemic is still raging, it has promoted China-Malaysia economic and trade cooperation and exchanges, and has also explored new channels for broader collaboration and development in the future.

Amid the pandemic, we adopt a hybrid mode of both online and offline, with two main venues and two sub venues. CCB will lead 37 Tier-1 domestic branches to participate in the online meeting, and there will be more than 260 high-quality Chinese import and export enterprises joining the matchmaking video conference session with Malaysian enterprises from various sectors including but not limited to food and beverages, health care, household daily products, palm oil, building materials, machinery, minerals, commodities & various demand of import and export products. On the launching ceremony day, a grand signing ceremony will be arranged and 100 matchmaking meetings will be held in the afternoon thereafter.  There will be another 300 matchmaking meetings to be arranged on 14th to 15th. This meeting will jointly discuss and explore the opportunities to deepen the cooperation between Chinese and Malaysian enterprises in the new era, broaden the achievements of the China-ASEAN Expo, and promote new progress in Malaysia-China economic and trade cooperation under the framework of RCEP.

The conference is divided into two segments: launching ceremony and one-to-one matchmaking video conference session. The launching ceremony will be broadcast live on "CCB Match Plus" platform at 10:00am. Please feel free to contact us for more information. Scan the QR code on the below poster to join.
